The movie follows the story of Joe Quincey (played by Luke Evans), an American tourist who visits his estranged father, Uncle Ben (played by Ed Harris), in the small town of Silverton, England. While there, Joe meets and falls in love with a local woman named Lucy (played by Alice Eve). However, their happiness is short-lived, as Joe is bitten by a werewolf and begins to transform into one himself.
